    Scotty Systems·

    Scotty Systems

It started as something completely different.

Scotty Systems grew out of years spent making videos, trying side hustles and recording an AI business attempt that did not go to plan.

    Follow the journey →

Today, Scotty Systems is becoming an AI toolbox for TikTok and YouTube creators. It starts with a problem I had myself: more footage than I could organise, and no practical way to find the moment I needed.

    293 recordings 82.2 hours 3 months documented

The first tool built from that problem is Scotty Archive.

Scotty Archive runs entirely in your browser — your recordings never leave the machine, which is why there is no usage charge on top of the £15. Because it runs locally rather than on a server, the key you receive is a receipt rather than a lock: it tells your copy the subscription is live and stops working when you cancel. That is stated plainly rather than dressed up as copy protection it is not.

    The Origin·

    The Creator

Creator first. Builder because the work kept producing problems.

    photograph
    Photograph not published yet.
01 / creator Makes to be felt.

    Stories, pacing, personality, attention.

02 / builder Makes to be used.

    Systems, software, tools, independence.

Scotty Systems exists where those two instincts overlap.

The useful thing to know is the contradiction, not the CV. He had been trying to make videos since he was six or seven. Several channels failed before one finally did not.

He genuinely loves making things — that part came first and has never really stopped. He is also ambitious in a way that is easy to mistake for restlessness: he wants the money and the independence, and he has chased both directly, sometimes clumsily.

The recurring failure is the same one every time. He builds too much. A thing that should have taken a week becomes a system, then a platform, then something that needs its own admin panel. Some of that instinct is why Scotty Systems exists at all. Some of it is why it took three attempts to get there.

None of the decisions on this map were obviously right at the time. The 70-day AI agency attempt looked like the answer while he was in it. What it produced was footage, a first £150 client through one message from his mum, and an uncomfortable lesson: building elaborate systems was often another way to avoid the simple action that could test them.

Old work, failed experiments and current software all belong to the same story. Pretending the failures were strategy would make the story less true and less useful.

    The Origin·

    Scotty

Before any of this was a company, it was a channel.

This is the part people skip past, and it is the part that explains everything else. The software was not designed by someone reading about creators. It was designed by one.

One of the biggest uploads generated just under £2,000. These figures explain the stakes; they are not presented as a repeatable business model.

    What it was

Gorilla Tag, ghost trolling, and a personality that had to hold an audience without a budget.

    What it taught

Editing and pacing — how long a moment can breathe before somebody leaves. That instinct is now the thing the tools are trying to give back.

    What it left behind

An audience, which became a shop. And an archive, which eventually became a problem.

    The channel ↗

    The origin. Not the destination.

A VR game, a ghost mechanic, and a format that worked: turn up invisible, play with people's expectations, cut it tight enough that nobody clicks away.

It is worth being straight about why this is on the map at all. It is not here because the software is for gamers — it is not. It is here because this is where the audience came from, and where several years of practice at holding attention actually happened.

Treating it as embarrassing would be dishonest. Treating it as the whole identity would be worse. It is the origin.

    The Origin·

    Editing & Pacing

Years of cutting to keep people watching.

Every video meant hours in a timeline deciding what to remove. Not what to add — what to remove. That is the whole craft, and it is almost entirely unglamorous.

    hook
    tension
    silence
    reveal
    release

Two things came out of it. The first is a genuine instinct for when a moment is working. The second is a very large pile of footage, because to find the twenty seconds worth keeping you first have to record the four hours.

That second consequence became the problem Scotty Archive now solves: turning an overwhelming recording folder into a searchable, chronological archive.

    The Origin·

    Scotty’s Necessities

The first time attention turned into something someone would pay for.

The channel built an audience. The shop was the first honest attempt to find out whether that audience wanted anything beyond the videos.

    Where the idea came from

People kept asking how the ghost audio in the videos was done. The answer was a folder of sounds he had already made — so it became something you could buy rather than something explained in a reply.

    Why audio packs belong here

They are made of the same material as the content itself. Selling them was not a pivot away from the channel; it was the channel, with a checkout.

Why it matters to the software

It is a live test of the exact things Scotty Systems has to handle: digital products, downloads, asset organisation, and an audience being moved from one thing to another.

    The Origin·

    The Origin

Everything above this grew out of a channel, an audience and a shop.

This is the foundation, and it is the part most portfolios would hide. Before there was a platform, a prototype or a single line of product copy, there was somebody making things that people chose to watch.

It matters because it is the whole reason the tools are shaped the way they are. The problems being solved further up this map are not problems read about in a market report — they are problems produced here, by actually making the work.

The channel is not a warm-up act for the software. It is the source of every problem the software is trying to solve.

What happened next: The Journey →

    The Journey·

    The Journey

This did not start three months ago.

Every channel, failed plan, lost pound and uncomfortable attempt moved me closer to what Scotty Systems is now.

    1. Around age 6–14

      Learning to create

I started recording in a field when I was around six or seven. The early channels failed, but each one taught me how to film, edit and keep making things before there was any reason to believe it would work.

Biking, then Fortnite montages, then VR. Where it began →

    2. Around age 13–15

      Sc0tty

At 13, one channel finally worked. Sc0tty reached roughly 42,000 subscribers and 5 million views, generating around £12,000 before tax. I eventually became bored of the niche, stopped uploading and had to start again.

The money did not last either. Approximate figures from memory, not audited accounts.

The channel → Gorilla Tag →

    3. Around age 14–15

      The side hustles

      • Depop dropshipping−£300LOSS
      • TikTok affiliate+£10PROFIT
      • E-commerce dropshipping−£30LOSS

None became a business. Each one showed me that copying a model was not the same as caring enough to stay with it.

    4. Age 15

      The return-to-YouTube plan

I planned six weeks of videos around a Shopify store selling the audio packs behind my Gorilla Tag edits. I built the plan and edited the final idea. I never published it.

The sequence was meant to end on a How to Ghost Roll video. The shop →

    5. Age 15–16

      The AI agency attempt

Then I found AI. I built offers, websites, GoHighLevel systems and automations, while repeatedly avoiding the part that could prove any of it: speaking to potential customers.

      What I built → The calls I avoided →

    6. About 70 days in

      The first paid proof

After about 70 days, the first client did not come from the system I had spent months building. One message from my mum created the introduction, and the first website paid £150.

    7. Three months, recorded

      The archive wall

I had recorded nearly all of it for a future video. The result was 293 playable recordings and 82.2 hours of footage — with no useful way to understand what I had captured.

      293 recordings 82.2 hours 3 months documented

Filming all of it → Hitting the wall →

    8. Now

Turning the problem into the tool

That mess became the first real Scotty Systems problem: build something that helps a creator understand their own archive. The current answer is Scotty Archive, now live as the first public creator tool.

It imports supported files, transcribes their audio, summarises, builds a library and timeline, links evidence to what it tells you, suggests filenames and keeps a creative memory. Access now sits under Scotty Systems: Free is available, while paid membership remains clearly marked unavailable.

The toolbox → Why I turned → Scotty Systems today →

See what the archive became →

    The Journey·

    Cold Calls

Far more time was spent preparing to call than actually dialling.

The recordings preserve the loop in real time: motivation, a long message to an AI, another promise to call, then the nerves when the phone finally rang. One early call happened. Instead of building momentum, he avoided making the next one.

Cold approaching businesses in person became another route, but the lesson stayed the same. The bottleneck was not a missing CRM, script or automation. It was taking the action that could produce a yes or a no.

Meanwhile he kept building the agency machinery →

    The Journey·

    The AI Agency Attempt

GoHighLevel pipelines, AI receptionists, regulatory bundles, websites and automations — all assembled while the real sales problem remained mostly untouched.

Across roughly three months, the offer kept changing faster than it could be tested. The systems were not imaginary, but “built” and “wanted by a customer” are different facts. The footage catches that distinction becoming impossible to ignore.

The breakthrough did not come from the most complex workflow. One message from his mum led to the first £150 client build. It was a small payment and a large correction: distribution had beaten infrastructure.

It also produced the habit that mattered later — he filmed almost everything.

    The Journey·

    Client Work

The first paid proof arrived through a message from his mum, not the systems he had spent months constructing.

    screenshots
Screenshots of the delivered sites. Not published yet.

The fully documented build is Stone & Soul Creations: a live custom PHP e-commerce foundation and admin panel. Wendy's Swim is a confirmed client, but the public case-study details still need verification. No performance numbers are invented for either.

What is safe to say is the craft. The documented build was written by hand, built to be fast and accessible, and paid £150. The amount was modest; the evidence was not.

    The Journey·

    Three Months, Recorded

He filmed almost the whole thing — including messages to an audience that did not exist yet.

“Maybe you guys could be watching this right now before I even made the account.” That line eventually became the opening of the second film. Screen recordings, camera footage, voice notes and half-finished timelines kept accumulating behind it.

What actually happened is the thing nobody warns you about. The archive grew faster than anyone could watch it. Filenames stopped meaning anything. Finding one specific moment meant scrubbing through hours, and every week made that worse rather than better.

293 playable recordings 82.2 hours 3 months documented
The footage was an asset in theory. In practice it was a room filling up with boxes nobody had labelled.

This is the direct cause of Scotty Archive.

    The Journey·

    The Archive Wall

Nothing cinematic broke. The scale itself became the failure.

The index found 293 playable recordings totalling 82.2 hours. One additional entry was only a 261-byte broken placeholder, but there is no evidence that a finished edit was destroyed. The real problem was simpler and more useful: the creator no longer knew what most of the files contained.

Chronological filenames could make the pile navigable. Transcripts and summaries could make it searchable. Neither automatically makes a good film — but both reduce the hours wasted trying to find out what exists.

That became the next experiment →

    The Journey·

    The Turn

Use the archive as the test case. Build the smallest thing that makes this film easier to finish.

The first attempt became Creator Sorter, then Scotty Archive. Both came from a problem its creator understood directly, which made them better experiments than another borrowed business idea.

But being your own first user is not proof of a market. General AI can already sort and analyse folders when someone knows how to ask. The remaining test is whether a dedicated workflow can produce reliable evidence and an editable story with less effort — enough less that another creator would choose it, and eventually pay for it.

    Where it came from

It began as Creator Sorter — a small local tool that read a chaotic recording folder, proposed a structure, let you overrule every decision, then copied rather than moved, with a SHA-256 checksum for every file and an undo for the whole run. That tool solved filing. It could not tell you what was inside anything.

    What changed

Scotty Archive took the idea further: import, transcription, summaries, a searchable library, a timeline, an assistant and memory linked to its evidence. Sorting is useful, but commodity. The harder promise is retrieving the right source, quote and context without starting over in a new chat.

The test it still has to pass

Ask: “When did I first speak to the audience that did not exist yet?” A useful answer must return the correct recording, the exact words and enough timing evidence to place the moment in an edit. If a normal AI chat does that more easily, this does not deserve to be a product.
